You made a smart decision to protect your vehicle with Paint Protection Film.
Your vehicle’s paint will thank you for it!
With proper care & maintenance, the Paint Protection Film will last many years.

Care instructions for your Paint Protection Film:

  • Always try to use wash mitts, cloth and/or brush to scrub bugs off the film.
  • Do not use sharp or pointed tools to clean anything off of the film.
  • Do Not Pressure Wash (Including Hand wands and/or Automatic Car Wash)

If you choose to use a hand wand to pressure washer:

  • Keep the pressure washer spray away from the edges of the film to avoid irreversible damage to the film and possibly your vehicle’s paint.
  • Keep the pressure washer at least 30 inches away from the film.
  • Always point the pressure washer away from sensitive areas on your vehicle.
  • Avoid using excessive pressure on any element of your vehicle. It is dangerous to do & your vehicle may respond in ways you do not expect.

If you decide that you must use a pressure washer and/or automatic car wash & choose not to follow the care instructions:

  • You will automatically void all warranty & release responsibility of D’s Glass & Film & the Dealership and/or Bodyshop.
  • You acknowledge & take full responsibility for any and all damage to the Paint Protection Film & your vehicle’s paint that may be caused because of the use of a pressure washer and/or automatic carwash. If you end up with damage to your film, we will do a damage assessment.
  • If the damage assessment shows any sign of improper care of the film, we are more than happy to install new paint protection film at the retail price minus 15% plus $200 to remove the damaged film.
